| Description | Long before electronic toys, LEGOS or even stuffed animals, infants and toddlers learned in and from their natural environment – nature! There is an unending list of items to see, touch, feel, hear, climb and explore in nature, contributing to learning in every early childhood domain. This training will identify Howard Gardner’s Multiple Intelligence “Naturalist” and ways in which Infant and Toddler programs can incorporate developmentally appropriate play based nature experiences in their indoor and outdoor environments. Participants will gain skills, strategies and techniques for implementing natural STEAM in developmentally appropriate ways for infants and toddlers. |
