| Description | In this training participants will learn the definition of temperament and its nine traits, the three main types of temperament and the term, 'goodness of fit.' Through partner discussions, chart activities and case scenarios, participants will actively investigate the best ways to create an environment that will allow for differences in temperament. Temperament as it relates to children with special needs will be explored along with strategies to encourage peer-modeling and the building of social skills. |
